The 3M Award for Excellence in Skin Safety will recognize an individual or clinical team for creating and sustaining a program designed to prevent skin damage.  The program will be broad in scope and address not only pressure injury prevention, skin tear prevention and/or adhesive trauma prevention but other types of skin injury such as Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis (IAD) prevention, Medical Adhesive Related Skin Injury (MARSI) and Medical Device Related Pressure Injury (MDRPI).

The successful application team, up to 4 applicants, will receive free registration to WOCNext^® 2021 and the program will be recognized during a symposium at WOCNext^® 2021: A Virtual WOW Experience with the WOCN^® Society and Relias, June 24 - 26, 2021.
